I can’t tell you how many times people ask me what’s wrong with their outfit or what they’re doing wrong with how they dress when they find out that I’m a wardrobe stylist. I’d rather focus on what people are doing right and work with their own style—unless they’re my good friends and they keep wearing unflattering fabric headbands on a daily basis (you know who you are).

That being said, I do have a few fashion pet peeves as a stylist. If you’re a culprit of any of these, I won’t tell. You’ll have some great solutions on how to avoid them.

Thanks Liz! Wonderful as always. One of my personal pet peeves is when people forget to cut out the stitches intending to hold pleats/vents together/flat during shipping. Ahh!
