Better Than Vintage

As I usually post on Fridays about something vintage that inspires my style, I have an even better vintage treat for you today. I’ve launched a page on where you can now shop my closet of vintage, pre-owned goodies seen on Dear Andi, and even pieces from my styling closet that may have been worn once or twice.

So go ahead and shop the closet of a stylist from your own home and check back soon for more items added.

Email me at if you like something and have questions or are not quite sure how to style it.

Also, don’t forget about the E.Kammeyer Giveaway with only a few more days left to enter!

Fall Trends To Start Wearing Now

1 – Rebecca Minkoff tux jacket: This not only hits the trends of the contrasting black lapel and pattern…but you can achieve the fall trend trifecta if you pair this with another pattern. STYLIST TIP: The trick with mixing patterns is to stay in the same family of colors (so in this case, neutrals work best) and alternate large with small patterns (a small checked or larger print on a pant would work well with this jacket).

2 – Topshop jacket: Though this is faux leather, it is a great knock-off style of more expensive brands that have jackets like this for fall. I particularly love that it incorporates the military trend—but with an updated edge.

3 – Vince pants: These printed pants are just like everything we saw on the fall runways. It seems the wider and the slouchier, the better. Pair these now with some wedge sandals and a tank and then pile on the blouses and cozy sweaters with it for fall.

4 – Free People *vegan* leather skirt: Leather will be just about everywhere this fall (think “Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”). This piece you can even wear now in the summer because it’s not heavy leather.

5 – Jack By BB Dakota dress: Anything brocade or baroque goes for this fall. Wear this with sandals now and layer with a blazer or sweater in a month or so.

6 – Boohoo brogues: The menswear trend will be strong this fall but try it out now by pairing these with a summery dress or shorts.

I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready for summer to be over just yet. With all of the wacky weather we’ve had this summer, I feel like we have barely begun to enjoy it.

Yet we are reminded that fall is just around the corner thanks to Fashion Week approaching and now we’re beginning to see stores carry the fall trends we saw down the runways of NYFW back in February.

With the temps soaring to nearly 90 degrees all of this week, I say, long live summer! Get the most out of those summer pieces and incorporate your new fall pieces into your outfits, whether it’s a layering piece or an accessory, like this “ringlet” bracelet from etc… due out this fall (email to order).

p.s. Shop this look below and check out some amazing end of summer sales going on now!!!!!

BK Beach Style + GIVEAWAY!

top: French Connection | shorts: French Connection | bag: vintage | shoes: Bass | sunnies: House of Harlow 1960 | bracelets: Shaya, Alex & Ani, etc… | neon bracelet: c/o E.Kammeyer

It was great to get some sunshine this past weekend after days of rainy weather and shooting long hours on a video shoot last week (even working until 6am! Oh the glamorous life of a stylist!). Strolling through the beachy area in Brooklyn, known as Red Hook, made me feel like I escaped the city life for a day.

Receiving this fun neon yellow wrap bracelet, made by E.Kammeyer, also brightened my weekend. It’s the perfect punch of color to make an otherwise neutral outfit look fresh.

Having army candy envy? *GIVEAWAY ALERT*

Follow both E.Kammeyer and Dear Andi on Twitter and let us know how you’d wear your neon wrap bracelet and you may win one for your own wrist.

Enter every day until 8/16 and winner will be announced on 8/17.
