Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. I know I did. I celebrated my birthday at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens (courtesy of my mother-in-law, who got me a membership for my birthday). It was a bit overcast, but perfect weather for strolling through the flowers and sketching the botany.
Though, despite the lack of sun, I wasn’t taking my chances after getting a nasty sunburn on a shoot last week when it was overcast.
Thank goodness for great hats like this one from TJMaxx for only $20!
